Chris Apple is Cybersecurity Solutions Product Manager at the Global Cyber Alliance (GCA), a nonprofit dedicated to reducing cyber risk and making the Internet safer for everyone. Chris works with partners and stakeholders worldwide to define, build, and deliver cybersecurity solutions that help individuals, small organizations, and underserved communities defend themselves against scams, fraud, and other online harms.

His career spans more than three decades, beginning with applied R&D on Distributed Systems and Internet protocols at AT&T Bell Laboratories and including leadership roles in the IETF and ISO/ITU-T standards bodies, Internet startups, and executive cybersecurity roles in consulting and industry. A victim of identity theft early in his own life, Chris brings a deeply personal commitment to protecting people from online fraud and abuse.
