Kausar Kenning is the Vice President of Intelligence and Controls at Visa, where she leads the organization’s intelligence driven defense strategy across the global payments ecosystem. She oversees a multi-disciplinary team that integrates dark web insights, threat intelligence, and network level data to generate actionable analytics for advanced fraud alerting, scam mitigation, and cybercrime prevention.

Under her leadership, the team is responsible for Visa’s Risk as a Service offerings, the Visa Account Attack intelligence model, conducts advanced vulnerability testing through the Visa Payments Threats Lab, performs global acquirer controls reviews, and develops the risk frameworks that underpin ecosystem wide security and resilience.

With a background spanning cybersecurity, fraud prevention, insider threat, data science, and internal audit, Kausar brings a deeply risk focused, evidence based, data driven approach to her work. She holds an M.S. in Data Analytics, along with CISSP, CISA, ISO 27001, and ISO 20000 auditor credentials, and remains active in the Atlanta CISO community and several local non profit organizations dedicated to cybersecurity and GenAI advancement and social impact.
