Toby Evans is the Head of Economic Crime at the Australian Payments Network (AusPayNet), where he leads national efforts to tackle fraud, scams, cybercrime, and financial exploitation across the payments industry. With more than two decades of experience across law enforcement, intelligence, and regulatory sectors, Toby has driven cross-sector partnerships and represented Australia in global anti-scam and cybercrime forums.

Before joining AusPayNet, he held senior roles at the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission and the Crime and Corruption Commission, leading major covert investigations into organised crime, money laundering, and corruption. He also serves on advisory boards including the Global Anti-Scam Alliance (Oceania Chapter), ICMEC Australia, and Crime Stoppers NSW.
