At Meta, Hazel serves as the Head of Economic Policy for Asia Pacific, leveraging over a decade and a half of experience in public policy, government relations, and strategic communication. Her role focuses on critical areas such as commerce, ads monetization, consumer protection, payments, and integrity, where she collaborates with stakeholders across government, industry associations, and civil society to address regulatory challenges and advance Meta's mission of connecting people and businesses.

Previously a Public Policy Manager for Meta Indonesia, Hazel played a pivotal role in establishing the company’s regulatory presence in the region. Her career is grounded in fostering partnerships and navigating the intersection of technology, business, and civil society. Prior to Meta, she worked on international non-profit organization, business/trade association, public policy institute, and university in Indonesia and Singapore.
