Scott Swantner is the Global Director of Law Enforcement Outreach at Meta, where he leads teams that conduct strategic engagement with global law enforcement and security agencies to help protect user safety and privacy. He previously held leadership roles at Western Union’s Financial Intelligence and Cyber Intelligence Units, focusing on fraud prevention and technology risk. Before his private sector career, Scott served eight years as a U.S. Secret Service Special Agent specializing in electronic crimes and forensic examinations. A former U.S. Marine Infantry Officer, he served in combat operations in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and across U.S. Embassies in North and West Africa. A Naval Academy graduate, he also holds a master’s degree in Business from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
