Scams are globally distributed by design — scammers in one country, victims in another, and the digital infrastructure enabling the crime scattered across dozens of jurisdictions. This data-driven workshop, hosted by the Global Signal Exchange, brings together new analysis on the geographic clusters and corridors that the scam ecosystem depends on — examining where victims are concentrated, where criminal operations are based, and which services and infrastructure scammers are exploiting most. Grounded in findings from the GASA State of Scams Report and GSE's own signal analysis, the session invites participants to explore what the distributed geography of the scam economy implies for an effective cross-border response.
