Sandra Sargent has been with the The World Bank since 2001, bringing deep expertise in IT industry development, digital skills, digital platforms, cybersecurity, and the safe use of technology. She played a pivotal role in establishing the Bank’s cybersecurity practice and currently serves as the Lead for Safe Use in Digital Society. Sandra holds a master’s degree in international commerce and was named an Oxford Martin Associate in recognition of her contributions to the digital harm and cyber risk agenda. She has taught digital economy at George Mason University and previously worked in the private sector on dual-use technology conversion.
