Sonali, known as a child online protectionist, founded Responsible Netism – a social purpose initiative committed to the cause of cyber wellness and online protection and safety of women and children. She brings over 30 years of professional experience in the development sector, protection of child rights and mental health. She championed the launch of India’s first Cyber Wellness Centre in Goa, offering both preventive digital literacy education and curative psychological support to address online distress, now operational in 4 states in India.

Responsible Netism has empowered over 1.8 million children and 1.5 million adults through its digital safety initiatives and supported over 65,000 survivors of online distress.
