This roundtable will launch the Future of Financial Intelligence Sharing (FFIS) publication A Survey of Collaborative Analytics Platforms to Tackle Fraud.
In the context of growing international policy attention on global governance and cross-border cooperation in the fight against fraud, the session will focus on the future of fraud risk information-sharing across borders, sectors and payment domains.
The FFIS survey brings together reference information covering 37 anti-fraud public-private partnership and private-to-private platforms and partnerships around the world.
Participants will consider learnings from domestic fraud risk information-sharing, take stock of the latest technical developments in 2026 and discuss the role of FATF in building the policy framework for stronger cross-border and cross-sector cooperation.
The roundtable will also serve as the launch pad for FFIS’ new Project Cross-Current, which is intended to support FATF in considering how the sharing of financial risk indicators between private sector entities can be strengthened, in close alignment with GASA’s Intelligence Sharing Working Group.
The session will bring together senior leaders from fraud risk information-sharing platforms, law enforcement, public policy and the private sector. This is an in-person roundtable only, held under the Chatham House Rule, with no recording or digital broadcast.
